This will likely be a somewhat long post, as there is a lot to unpack here.

Once again it would appear that a major update to one of the core elements of the site has been pushed through without asking for input from members and models alike on our input for the planned changes BEFORE making them.

This time it’s Fan Club that has undergone a completely unnecessary rework from my perspective, especially as it’s created numerous issues on both sides, and creates questions / concerns.

Firstly, what’s happened / been removed?

Flirt has rolled out its Fan Club 2.0, and in doing so there have been some fairly big changes, the most notable is that all things FC related are no longer held on the mainland Flirt4Free site, if you navigate to the old Fan Club page you are no longer able to sort rooms to see which are popular, by price, alphabetically or by who is currently online, which if you are looking to buy a models Fan Club, would’ve been a great place to start (mainly by being able to sort by the most popular, as this showed which rooms were actively doing / using the Fan Club shows / perks on a regular basis).

Additionally, the sub page which allowed members to manage their Fan Club memberships has also been removed in favour of a new external site (more on that in a bit), which therefore means you are no longer able to quickly and easily see your membership history, current active memberships, or set up automatic renewals for when a membership expires, and the new system for doing these things is just more of a nuisance than an improvement.

While these two pages have been gutted, the original ways to join a models Fan Club have NOT changed, this can still be done directly in the models room, or by navigating to their bio page.

The old Fan Club sites for each individual model that you would have access to by joining their Fan Club have also been dropped, as they were definitely dated in appearance and usage and are being replaced with the aforementioned external site, this part of the change is something I support I just don’t think the execution has been handled well personally.

So what’s new?

To replace the pages that have been removed, Flirt is moving everything Fan Club related to Flirt.Fans, an external site not linked to the main site, the first hurdle with this was / is figuring out logins, after some playing around it looks as though this is set up with the default screen name in use at the time of the changeover on Tuesday 8th July, and your password for logging in will be the same as the one used to access the main site.

Now when you do manage to log in (and provided you dont receive any errors, I’ve been getting a HTTP 500 error each time I try log in myself) you will have all your active memberships listed in a table on the homepage, alongside the physical end date and time.
No issues with this (again, if / when it does work) as I think this is a better way of displaying how long is left on your membership than the generic “days” number it used to show, as I’ve been caught off guard and had a membership end midway through a FanClub show before thinking I still had 1 day left on my access.

The new site is set up to be more like your typical social media site, think Tik Tok or Instagram, it is very sterile looking and I don’t really have any complaints on it, though I admittedly also don’t really have any praise either at this point.

Another addition is that members will receive automated emails regarding FanClub, at the very least for when a model gifts you access (I will be able to test if one is sent as a confirmation when buying the access once my existing access ends) which is a nice addition in my opinion even if it’s one of the smaller changes made with this rework and I think it would also be good to receive a notification / reminder when a membership is about to end as a reminder that you’ll need to renew it soon if you so choose to do so.

So what’s gone wrong / what is the feedback?

The first big issue we’ve experienced after this change is that it looks to have reeked some havoc on existing memberships, with numerous members having their access cancelled without the models input, something that has affected both gifted and PURCHASED Fan Club accesses, and I can’t see any logical reason as to why this would be the case especially for those memberships where the member purchased the access themselves.

There also seems to be confusion with using the new site, firstly with its existence, as I had to be directed to it by Support staff and was not able to navigate to it myself easily via Flirts main site.
And so far both the models and other members I have spoken with that have tried it so far are all saying it’s not obvious how to get to, nor is it easy to navigate when you finally do get to it, which is to be expected, but I also agree it’s not the most obvious site to navigate which is impressive given how bare bones it is right now.

What are my thoughts / concerns?

I don’t think the start of July was the time to release this revamp, firstly and foremost because of FOTY, one of the main categories in the biggest contest of the year is for Fan Club, and I don’t believe overhauling the entire thing like this should have been done until the start of next year, the changes raise questions about how it’s going to impact current standings and how ranks are determined going forward.

I also don’t understand why we are once again pushing through a big change without first proposing it and opening a discussion with the models and members using the site, seeing as we are the ones that are directly affected by those changes?
Think back to the whisper change last year and the absolute shit show that was, with multiple models and members very vocally criticising the change until it was eventually reverted.
Something I would have hoped you would learn from and create a forum thread the next time a big change is being planned so you can get feedback / ideas BEFORE the change takes place.

TL:DR
Flirt has revamped Fan Clubs and how they work, and it has not been a smooth transition as far as I can tell so far, with the new additions being riddled with issues, and the changes making finding / accessing Fan Clubs worth joining harder than before.

This is obviously still a VERY new change to the site, so thoughts and opinions will continue to develop, but I wanted to create a channel for actually communicating / discussing thoughts and ideas regarding this change

I'm not a frequent or avid user of fanclubs, so I can't comment on every aspect of this post, but I agree with a lot of your criticism. No excuses for sloppy, haphazard feature rollouts like this in 2025.
A few general comments:
I did not enjoy that in the prior iteration of fanclub you had to log out and log back in if you had fanclub memberships under different usernames, that seems to be fixed in this update, which is a positive.
The old site did feel extremely dated, I would agree that a refresh was in order, but the new site feels blank and sterile. On a desktop it feels like a site optimized for mobile, with tons of blank space on the sides. I'm not a fan of the design. It also seems like they got rid of the 'wall' feature? I don't know how much it got used, but that doesn't seem to be replaced by anything.
I buy fanclub memberships for the private show cost reduction and to show support to models, so realistically this probably won't change my usage, but a good refresh could have potentially made me engage more with this feature.

I'd say yay but there are some issues. Its not synching properly with the main Flirt account, so number of credits, screennames are not accurate to what the account actually has

I did receive an email from the site about the fan club with the address of the fan club site. There is a comment section similar to the wall section but is also available to everyone who visits without logging in. My concern is where are the links to places like photos, videos and other content from the old site.
Also after receiving the fan club gift I am not showing up in the color of the fan club member.

A little update from my side;

The Fan Club pages on the main site have now been brought back, which I think is a step in the right direction to getting things back into a good spot.
My only note on this is that, once again, the "Most Popular" filter is NOT showing the actual most popular models Fan Clubs, something that I'm hoping will be rectified soon as just like the last time this change was made, I see it as being misleading and disingenuous to not sort the list of models how I'm explicitly requesting them to be sorted, all but one of the top models are completely missing and not showing on page 1 where they should be, instead there are models who haven't even been online since LAST YEAR on the first page...

The new Flirt.Fans site has had some small tweaks since it's launch, however it still feels baron and sterile, and I suspect more features are yet to be implemented as time goes on such as integrating the DM+ feature into it (though I must say the DM+ feature itself was a swing and a miss IMO).

Like others have said, it looks like there are definitely some sort of syncing issue going on right now with Fan Clubs.

Tuesday - Thursday was fine and no issues on my end, I was able to join members only shows (the main reason I join Fan Clubs)', however on Friday night when my access was due to expire, that's when I started to experience the same issues as others:
First I got ejected from the members show prematurely, and when trying to rejoin I started receiving a pop up message stating I did not have access, in the open room I am not showing as the models chosen colour for Fan Club, and do not have access to the whispers (locked to those in Fan Club in that room, HOWEVER, when looking at the Fan Club pages on both Flirt and the new site, it shows me as still being a member, likewise when the model looks from their side I also show as being in Fan Club for them too.

After talking with the room and the model, I also know that their are some members who have PAID to join the Fan Club, and they too have not been able to join members only shows for the same reasons I and others look to have been getting.

It is shocking to me that an update to the site can go live in this state, 5 years frequenting the site and I've never seen it in such a rough spot.
I sincerely hope that there will be transparency from the site on what they're doing to try resolve the issues, and what the timeframe is likely to be, if not with members, they should at the very least be doing so with models.

Not crazy on the Fan Club at all -- it needs to be more interactive. There's not much incentive to purchase a membership other than to show support.

The biggest appeal for being in Fan Club and the main reason to join one is if the model routinely does Fan Club shows, the actual Fan Club site (both the old and the new one) aren't really worth looking at for the most part in my opinion.
You could also argue that the slightly cheaper private rate for being in Fan Club is also worth it.

I have been having some very odd issues with rooms. I went into a room a couple of days ago and I had a particular nickname for. In the sign in the upper right corner was the name I signed it with. And though I had changed that, that is what appeared in the chat box. So...two nicknames on the same page? What? ;'
I am a member to two fan clubs...and they were both hosed up like crazy.
It appears the fan club "settings" such as they are, are ridiculously bad. I have not been able to get into a fan club show...then I could. I rebooted my laptop, cleared my history, cache, etc. Still no luck. Back and forth, back and forth.
And the next night? No problem!
First... a site like this depends on a good front facing page. It appears that your IT department is, shall we say, less than competent. My first thought is that there was NO early beta testing to make sure everything worked! But....but you pushed ii through anyway. Not a smart move,
IMHO, F4F, you need to let everyone know what the hell is going on. Your models, your members, everyone.
Be straightforward. Just admit you f'ed up, fix it and all will be fine. Don't? Do you want member leaving the site in frustration, as well as models who are just done with the lack of competence in the tech end?
For heaven's sake this is really, really poor site management for a company that depends on the internet.
Not sure what is happening, but fix it and let everyone know what the issue was. That is the right thing to do.

I agree - The Fan Pages I have seen contain the same pictures and comments as the model's page does, and there's very little to no blogging at all.

More info that confirms the lack of beta testing -
Scroll through the fan club standings. They are all over the map. Models that were in the top 10 with exception of one have been replaced by models I have never seen or heard of.
But! There are also test account listings still on the list. Just random images with odd names like "Carlos manager".
If they were really up to speed those accounts would have been removed from the list before they rolled it out. It is possible that every metric in the FC standings is crossed up.

This is something I have also clocked and already messaged the site support about!

The "Most Popular" filter is completely broken and in no way shape or form shows the ACTUAL popular rooms for Fan Club, looking into each model on PAGE 1 showed that some of them haven't even been online in MONTHS, or my personal favourite DON'T EVEN HAVE A FAN CLUB SET UP ("Ash Green" on Page 1, "Genesis Rodriguezz" on Page 2, "Evelynn Luxx" on Page 5, not to mention the various test accounts already mentioned) so how exactly are they suddenly on Page 1 when sorting this way on the list?

Even more insult to injury is that models who were on the first Page where they SHOULD be and were showing up BEFORE the update to the new Fan Club system, have now been relegated to Pages as low as 9, 12 or even further, which seems VERY unlikely to be the reality of the situation, and absolutely needs to be fixed.

Further to this, I think EVERYONE can agree that to even be listed on the Fan Club page, you should have one actually set up...
So after realising a couple models listed on those first few pages didn't have one I thought I'd go through all of them while sorting by "Most Popular" and found 60 models total that don't even use Fan Club, and also found a few of the models I know for a fact SHOULD be on Page 1 from before the change:

"Ash Green" on Page 1
"Genesis Rodriguezz" is now on Page 1, she was on Page 2 roughly an hour prior to this post
"Evelynn Luxx" on Page 5
"Lusi Angel" on page 7
"Marie Jenner" on Page 7
"Carlos Flirts" on Page 7
"Mirka Test" on Page 7

JADE HEATHER DOES HAVE FC AND IS ON PAGE 7 - WAS ON PAGE 1 BEFORE THIS UPDATE

"Holly Park" on Page 8

SOPHIA MOORE DOES HAVE FC AND IS ON PAGE 9 - WAS ON PAGE 1 BEFORE THIS UPDATE

"Mistress Vivian" on Page 10
"Roni Raye" on Page 10

PARKER RAIN DOES HAVE FC AND IS ON PAGE 10 - WAS ON PAGE 1 BEFORE THIS UPDATE (SHE'S ALSO THE FC FOTY WINNER FOR THE PREVIOUS 2 YEARS)

"Mindy Stevens" on Page 11
"Mila Henz" on Page 11
"Celeste West" on Page 12
"Jerome Test" on Page 13
"Dayana Bake" on Page 13
"Agreement Testermodel" on Page 13
"Kim Jonson" on Page 17
"Paulina Estrada & Mateo Arrae" on Page 17
"Pinky Walker" on Page 17
"Ginger Rey" on Page 17
"Natashaa Bluee" on Page 18
"Ema Blis" on Page 18
"Audrey Canterbury" on Page 18
"Alexandra Silex" on Page 18
"Jasminne Lee" on Page 18
"Emiily A" on Page 18
"Alissa Scott" on Page 18
"Samy Brown" on Page 18
"Lois Boardley" on Page 18
"Victoria Parkeer" on Page 18
"Estefany Colin" on Page 19
"Kennedy Ann" on Page 19
"Mary Sparkle" on Page 19
"Ora Grine" on Page 19
"Scarlett Moss" on Page 19
"Erlina Hartford" on Page 19
"Mia Willow" on Page 19
"Amber Myerss" on Page 19
"Elvia Anness" on Page 19
"Rus Test" on Page 19
"Izzie Paige" on Page 19
"Sylvia Syn" on Page 20
"Aurora Hans" on Page 20
"Ariadna Joy" on Page 20
"Kate Lyn" on Page 20
"Alsu Gwen" on Page 20
"Rose Sins & Don Viktor" on Page 21
"Heather Test" on Page 22
"Mei Kugisaki" on Page 22
"The Live House" on Page 22
"Alice Fiery" on Page 22
"Hailey Willson" on Page 23
"Natashha Summer" on Page 23
"Sharon Cutee" on page 23
"Camila Montiel & Antuan Deep" on Page 23
"Kimberly Orozco" on Page 24
"Malory Bell" on Page 25
"Violet Pieerce" on Page 25
"Emma Santa" on page 27
"Dory Hancock" on Page 27

That list doesn't include some of the "Test" accounts that DID have a Fan Club set up, but should arguably also not be included on the Fan Club page given how they're test accounts, nor does it take into account any of the models on the pages who simply haven't been online in months or even years in some instances.
This is inexcusable in my opinion, and is another small thing that hints towards little to no testing / checking actually being done on updates being pushed live on the site.

I've been to a few fan clubs and I really don't think they add anything to the regular experience, for the customer or the artist. That's why they just pass by and don't pay much attention to this functionality.

It doesn't offer any interesting perks, other than if the model decides to do a members-only show, which, as we all know, is very rare or almost impossible to happen because their regular customers don't subscribe because there's no value in doing so, and it's a vicious circle that makes this feature a failure.

Apart from the already known problems with how the site sorts the fan clubs and the fan clubs that appear on the front page even when the artist hasn't been active for over a year.

so everything seems fine here... :bowdown

If you join a room that actually does shows that are fan club members only, you might feel differently.
I agree that most are not much - you get your name in a color and maybe you get whisper ability.
But find a model that really does shows on a regular basis and it's a whole new level. 😁

While the vast majority of models that "use" Fan Club are pretty much only using it for the pretty colours in the chat and access to whispers, I would echo what Red has said, and that if you find a model who recognises the value and potential of doing members only shows on a regular basis, it becomes a great example of what Fan Club can and probably should look like.

The old Fan Club site was dead, and I don't think it was really utilised by models and members alike, and in it's current state, I don't see the appeal as a member for using the new site.

I don't wanna comment on the part about updates causing (short-term) technical issues, but on the idea of the new fan club page. To me it actually made sense, and I agree with the post saying the old fanclub-system was (out)dated. I'm not really sure I understand the criticism about the community not having been extensively involved in the planning or decision-making for the feature. I mean what exactly should they have done, and isn't it quite legitimate that a company offering a product decides how they wish to develop (and modernize) their product according to a certain vision or strategy they have? Whether you're among the people who like or dislike the change, then, is another question.

I still don't think it offers much, especially when you compare it to the features of fan clubs on other sites, especially one in particular... :winkwink

On this site, I think it's more about showing that you like a particular model without saying much else.

This is just my opinion and not the absolute truth.
